Hello, I’m Nicola Kehoe, the very lucky headteacher of St Mary’s RC Primary School.  I have been in primary education for over 25 years now.  I was born in Glasgow and began my teaching career in the west coast of Scotland as a class teacher before moving to Edinburgh in 1995.  After working as a class teacher for 10 years, I became a principal teacher then another move to become Depute here at St Mary’s and then I was successful in being appointed as Headteacher. I have been the Headteacher now these past 9 years. 

St Mary’s has a lovely community spirit and parents, staff and pupils all work together to ensure our children are happy, engaged and achieving.  I love the fact that no day is ever the same. Working with children to support their growth is I believe, just the best environment to be in.  

Out of school, I live near the beach and enjoy lots of walks with my husband and our little boy who helps keep me very active too!
