We were delighted to hear that we have been shortlisted for the Sustainable School Award at the Edinburgh Evening News Local Hero Awards! Ms Murphy and Mrs Carr who lead on this work will represent the school at an awards ceremony on the 7th December. Find out if we won in our end of term newsletter!
Thanks to PFC Funds Mrs Haniff was able to purchase new stock—£1400 worth of books at half price from Scotia Book Supplies in Kilsyth. We were able to purchase £500 worth of new titles and about £200 to replace our most loved reads. We were able to purchase fiction, non fiction, diversity and wish list requests. I’m sure you’ll agree this is very good news for the school.
